Mercer CPSU Member Update – Fen 2021 (PDF version)
Your union met with Mercer during 2020 in the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) and the Post Implementation Committee (PIC) for the Enterprise Agreement.
This will also be a busy year with your union representing members interest to finalise the implementation of the agreement and meet with Mercer at the JCC.
The PIC will meet once a month to finalise the implementation of the agreement in 2021. There is still a large area of work to be undertaken via the Classification Review and we will be engaging with members during the process.
Members should note that Clause 15.4 of the Mercer Administration Services Enterprise Agreement 2019 outlines the timeframe of the completion of work and at this stage we will not meet the timeframe in the agreement.
During the first twelve (12) months of the Enterprise Agreement being in operation, all Enterprise Agreement covered positions will be re-evaluated to ensure all positions are mapped correctly to the classification structure.
Both Mercer and the CPSU will seek a variation to the agreement via a Memorandum of Understand (MOU) to extend the timeframes of the review. The variation will give the parties an extra six months to complete the task and Mercer has agreed to back date any potential increase.
