Community Living Award error update

Community Living Award error – Nov 2019 (PDF version)

In October the CPSU NSW wrote to ARUMA on behalf of 31 staff who had been incorrectly taken off the Community Living Award (the Copied-state award) and asked the company to correct the error.

This email is to advise you that we have now received a response from ARUMA.

ARUMA has confirmed the following:

1. The employee’s employment will be immediately subject to the terms and conditions of the copied state award
2. All the terms and conditions of the copied state award will apply
3. Any back-pay owing will be processed, and the figures will be updated accordingly to the date of payment
4. The current mode/status of employment remains unchanged.

ARUMA has stated it will provide an impact statement for each employee within four weeks.
