CPSU NSW update: Your union meets with Aware Super


The CPSU NSW has again met with Aware Super regarding the proposed changes within the organisation. As members will be aware consultation has commenced for the area of Member Growth.

  • Nineteen roles are proposed to be deleted. However, there are 11 new vacant roles proposed to be created at levels covered by the Enterprise Agreement. This means a net reduction in headcount of eight if affected staff are redeployed into all new vacant roles
  • Fifteen roles at Level 5 are proposed to be deleted. However, here are 13 new vacant roles proposed to be created at the same level. This means net reduction in headcount of two if affected staff are redeployed into all new vacant roles.

Members are encouraged to provide feedback on the changes proposed by Aware through the union. Aware must genuinely consider all feedback present to them. The union’s feedback will be on behalf of members at large and no individual members will be identified.
