UAC Enterprise Agreement Update

A CPSU NSW members meeting was held on 13 February 2025 to discuss the updates, issues and any questions that came from the all-staff meeting held by University Admissions Centre (UAC) Management on the 12 February 2025 concerning the proposed Enterprise Agreement (EA).

During the members meeting it was decided that they cannot endorse the EA in its current state for two key reasons:

  • Management’s offer of a 9.9 per cent pay increase across the life of the Agreement. The bargaining team made numerous counter-offers based on discussions with all members and management has rejected them.
  • Reduction of the excess annual leave cap from 40 to 30 days. This will place unreasonable pressure on staff to take or cash out leave if they cannot take it in the time frames specified in the proposed EA.

The CPSU NSW has been informed that the access period began on Wednesday 11 February 2025 and the vote will begin at 7:00am Thursday 20 February 2025 and end at midnight on Tuesday 25 February 2025

The union encourages all members to vote and to discuss the pros and cons with your colleagues.  If the vote fails, UAC Management will have to come back to the bargaining table and resume negotiations.

If you have further questions about the process, you can contact your local Delegates or a member of the CPSU NSW industrial team.
