Fair Go Serco: CPSU NSW table offer of settlement

The CPSU NSW has tabled an offer of settlement in response to a  proposal SERCO put to the union on 30 April 2025.

The development follows meetings earlier this week with correctional staff at Clarence Correctional Centre.

Staff at the centre backed a CPSU NSW plan to put forward a revised proposal which puts the company and union with reach of settling on terms for a new Correctional Case Officers enterprise agreement. Click here for a copy of our letter.

“The difference between us is quite small, but not insignificant,” said Thane Pearce, from the CPSU NSW’s bargaining team.

“We’ve put forward a proposal that’s a little less than what we’d hoped for, but as a package gives us confidence of real wage growth combined with a plan to reward front line staff who stay with the company.”

“It’s well balanced, rewards loyalty and provides for fair pay rises that won’t break the bank.”

“Let’s get this done,” Thane said.
