Clarence Correctional Centre Bargaining Update

CPSU NSW bargaining representatives will be onsite on Monday, 12 May and Tuesday, 13 May at 7:00am to brief members on the latest developments in negotiations with SERCO for a new Correctional Officers enterprise agreement.

The company has advised our bargaining team that it intends to ballot correctional officers on a proposed two-year enterprise agreement. Key elements of the package include:

  • 3.5 per cent pay rise in 2025
  • 3 per cent pay rise in 2026
  • An annual retention bonus of $250 for CCO2’s
  • An annual retention bonus of $500 for CCO3’s An increase in overtime loading to 100 percent for all hours worked after three hours (excluding public holidays)

While the package falls short on the bargaining team’s estimation, we have agreed to seek feedback directly from members before solidifying our position in response to the Company.
