On Tuesday 15 April 2025, the University of NSW  (UNSW) Branch membership met to hold the Annual General meeting and elect the new Branch Committee Executive.

As a result of these elections, the new Branch Committee Executive members are as follows;

President – Shelley Odewahn,
Vice President – Liam O’Donoghue,
Secretary – Ellie Williams,
Assistant Secretary  – Victoria Jenkins,
Women’s Officer – Kassie Dmitrieff,
Workplace Health and Safety Officer – Shared between Kassie Dmitrieff and Victoria Jenkins

The CPSU NSW expresses its sincere and deep thanks to both the returning and new members of the Branch Committee Executive.

In particular, we thank  Alister Waring for his many years as the Branch President; he has been a dedicated and invaluable member of the Branch Committee and his work including many rounds of Enterprise Bargaining has greatly improved the entitlements and working conditions of our members at UNSW.

We look forward to tackling another year of Union growth and defending the workplace rights and entitlements of our members.

UNSW Industrial Update
