Serco Australia has presented a formal pay offer to the CPSU NSW bargaining team at Clarence Correctional Centre.
Key to the company’s position is a three-year pay deal including increases in Correctional Case Officers’ (CCO) pay of 3.5 per cent in 2025, 3 per cent in 2026 and 3 per cent in 2027.
In dollar terms the Company’s offer amounts to an increase in the base hourly rate of pay of:
2025 CCO1 + .98c 2026 CCO1 + .87c 2027 CCO1 + .90c
2025 CCO2 + $1.02 2026 CCO2 + .90c 2027 CCO2 + .93c
2025 CCO3 + $1.09 2026 CCO3 + .96c 2027 CCO3 + .99c
The offer also includes an increase in the overtime loading to 100 per cent (double time) for all hours worked after three hours (Monday-Sunday) and a proposal to rebalance the higher duties allowance to improve take-up on ad hoc acting opportunities.
