AHPRA offers 4.25 per cent pay rise in July, further bargaining in December


The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Enterprise Agreement 2022- 2025 is currently due to expire on 30 June 2025. AHPRA have put forward a proposal to defer negotiations on a new Enterprise Agreement until December 2025, subject to the conditions below:

  1. All employees covered by the above enterprise agreement will receive a salary increase of 4.25 per cent from the first full pay period on our 1 July 2025
  2. Wage related allowances outlined in Appendix 1c being on call, first aid and emergency warden allowances will be increased by 4.25 per cent from 1 July 2025
  3. The increased salary rates in point 1 will also be applied to any performance increments that an employee is entitled to under Clause 31.3
  4. The salary and allowances increase in points 1 and 2 will be incorporated into any new enterprise agreement and will be the basis of any future salary increase etc that will be negotiated on.
  5. All other conditions of the existing enterprise agreement will remain in place.
  6. The parties agree to start negotiations on the next enterprise agreement on the 9 December 2025 and shortly after that meeting the notice of employee representational rights notice will be issued, and a further meeting will occur on 19 January 2026 with the unions and any nominated employee bargaining representatives.
