TransGrid Enterprise Bargaining Update

As you are aware your Enterprise Agreement was voted down a second time by TransGrid Employees.

The Combined Unions have since written to TrasGrid requesting that we meet again as soon as possible to discuss the outstanding issues that each Union’s members have.

Issues that remain outstanding are as follows:

  • A salary increase is still to be agreed upon with the 0.5 per cent superannuation component in years two and three of the offer now settled. (Combined Unions)
  • Working from home arrangements to be included in the enterprise agreement. (Combined Unions)
  • Overtime rates are to be paid at double time from the onset rather than the time and one half for the first two hours before increasing to double time after that. (Combined Unions)
  • Minimum training of contractors. (ETU Claim)
  • Income Protection. (ETU Claim)

Once TransGrid respond to the Combined Unions request to meet again CPSU-NSW will push for a better offer for its members along with the other Unions.

A further Update will be sent once the meetings begin to see if any improvements can be negotiated.

If you have any concerns or any input that you would like to see the CPSU-NSW put forward on behalf of its members please contact Regional Organiser Ian Braithwaite on 0400859630 or
