TAFE NSW Managers EA – Vote Yes


The CPSU NSW reached in-principle agreement with TAFE NSW for the new TAFE Commission of NSW TAFE Managers Enterprise Agreement 2024.

The CPSU NSW have endorsed the proposed new Enterprise Agreement and recommend that you

VOTE YES

CPSU NSW advocated and advanced the interests of employees to achieve significant improvements for all managers, including but not limited to:

Workload

  • TAFE NSW managers will perform 35 hours per week instead of 38 – with no reduction to annual salaries and past accrued leave entitlements.
  • A new Workload Review clause which provides a framework for employees to raise concerns about their workload that is unsustainable, inequitable, or unmanageable.

Pay

  • A 4 per cent salary increase, back paid to the first full pay period on or after 1 January 2024.

Leave

  • A new option for TAFE NSW managers to cash out excess annual leave within the parameters of the Fair Work Act 2009.
  • A new option for TAFE NSW managers to purchase extra annual leave.
