Ability Options restructure of Corporate and Support Roles

Ability Options has commenced consultation in relation to roles within corporate, management and other supporting services within the organisation.

The CPSU NSW understands that the following roles are affected, Learning and engagement Advisor, Quality and Risk Compliance Officer, Quality and Risk Support Coash, Quality and Support Coach , Senior Learning and Engagement Advisor and the WHS Specialist role. Ability Options has advised the CPSU NSW that this is due to funding constraints. The work undertaken by the roles impacted will either be distributed where there is capacity or ceased. At the same time, Ability Options will review and re-align workloads of remaining teams commensurate with revised staffing numbers.

Members are encouraged to provide feedback on the changes proposed by Ability Options through the Union. Ability Options must genuinely consider all feedback presented to them. The Union’s feedback will be on behalf of members at large and no individual members will be identified.
