At todays bargaining meeting the university put a wage offer on the table.
It should be recognised that, in July 2022, staff received a 2.1 per cent pay increase + $1000 to cover the period from the end of the last EA to the present. What this means is that, from July 2022 to June 2027, staff will have received a flat overall increase of 16.7 per cent over five financial years, plus cash payments of $3000.
The agreement would be for a 3 year period from Fair Work Commission approval.
