Water NSW has proposed a new remuneration package to settle bargaining with the corporation’s staff.
The offer is for a two year enterprise agreement and includes the following key elements:
Option 1
2.53 per cent base pay increase
Get Performance Pay already earned in previous year (up to 3.6 per cent)
PLUS a 2 per cent guaranteed one off payment (under Performance Pay banner)
(0.5 per cent super increase to be added on)
Note: The proposed 2 per cent guaranteed one off payment is brought from the Year 2 performance bonus allocation and is not additional money.
Option 2
2.53 per cent base pay increase
Get Performance Pay already earned in previous year (up to 3.6 per cent)
PLUS a 1.8 per cent guaranteed one off payment (under Performance Pay banner) + 0.2 per cent (Changes to PCS)
(0.5 per cent super increase to be added on)
Note: The proposed 1.8 per cent guaranteed one off payment and 0.2 per cent changes to PCS components are brought forward from the Year 2 performance bonus allocation and are not additional money.

Up to 1.6 per cent performance pay (OPEX measure)
(0.5 per cent super increase to be added on)
The CPSU NSW and the other union’s bargaining on behalf of staff have agreed to consult members on the package, before providing Water NSW with a position in response.
