Your CPSU NSW TAFE Delegates have been working hard on your behalf and have met with many individual members in relation to the Tranche 2 Student Services Branch restructure. Yesterday, your TAFE Delegates held a meeting to determine the dates and times that the CPSU NSW will meet with all TAFE NSW members and staff affected by the new proposed restructure. The details for these meetings are as follows:
You can join either or both of these meetings via Microsoft Teams using the same link. Click HERE to join the meeting.
Further meetings will be held and the CPSU NSW TAFE Delegates Council would like to create working parties from each area.
Further discussions between members, Delegates, and union officials (including the PSA’s Industrial Officer) will take place over the coming days and weeks, in order to determine the union’s response in time for the end of the consultation period (10 December 2021).
If you can make it, please attend one of the meetings next week, even if you’re not directly affected by the Tranche 2 announcement. Changes and downsizing affects all of us, because we lose people and the remaining workers’ workloads increase. We also care about our communities and our students, so we all have an interest in making sure the union’s response to TAFE’s proposal is as comprehensive and inclusive as possible.
All the current Delegate Council members are listed below, so if you’d like someone to talk to, or help interpreting your letter from TAFE.
