CPSU NSW Bargaining Update and Log of Claims

PDF version

As you are aware, the CPSU NSW has commenced bargaining with management at the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR). In order for us to ensure it is a democratic process, we consult with you along every step of the way.

The CPSU NSW has developed a draft Log of Claims based on discussion we had with you both in person and over the phone, along with the rest of the country. In order for us to proceed we must seek approval from you for this Log of Claims to present to management.

On Monday 10 May at 2:30pm we will be holding a Zoom meeting to discuss it, outline what is in it (and why), and to vote on its approval. It is highly useful for you to attend this to ensure you’re aware of what the union is fighting for, and give any input that you would like (the addition of items for example).

We are aware that this may be a particularly hard round of bargaining, especially in regards to a real, meaningful pay rise, so it’s useful to know what it is that is being pushed for.

We are also seeking nominations for bargaining representatives from the NSW branch. We will be talking about what this entails and answering any questions that you might have about it. If you have any questions in the lead up to this meeting, or are considering stepping up, please don’t hesitate to call your organiser Kirra Jackson on 0438 416 615.

The meeting will be held over zoom so that as many people as possible can attend. If you’re unable to attend please let your organiser know via email at . Please don’t hesitate to reach out either.

The link to the meeting is HERE. We will send out a reminder email on the day.

We look forward to seeing you there.
