Your union. the CPSU NSW. has been provided with Workplace Change Proposals from Macquarie University in the areas of IT, Finance and Learning and Teaching.
The CPSU NSW is extremely concerned about the job losses proposed by the university and will fight to protect your interests at this difficult time.
At the meeting of the Professional Staff Implementation Committee on 11 November the CPSU NSW raised concerns about workload issues arising from the Voluntary Redundancy process and the health and safety implications of restructures.
Your union sought and was assured of consultation in relation to the Change Proposals.
The CPSU NSW seeks your feedback in relation to the proposed changes and will advocate on your behalf throughout the process.
The CPSU NSW will update you about any discussions with Macquarie University and will be arranging a members meeting to discuss proposed changes. Details of the members meeting will follow.
