Ausgrid Enterprise Bargaining 2021: the CPSU NSW invites your engagement

Bargaining 2021 – Oct 2020 (PDF version)

On Tuesday 15 September 2020, Ausgrid and the combined unions representing its employees came together at Ausgrid offices in Sydney and via videoconference. The meeting was to introduce Industrial Staff ahead of the commencement of enterprise bargaining for a new Ausgrid Enterprise Agreement 2021 (EA).

Timetable for bargaining

This week the CPSU NSW and the combined unions will be meeting with Ausgrid management to confirm who our bargaining representative/s will be. Presently, your delegate Leanne Smith has nominated to be your bargaining representative. If you are also interested in nominating, please get in touch with CPSU NSW Industrial Officer Matthew Drake-Brockman.

On Tuesday 20 October the combined unions will meet to collate our collective claims.

On Thursday 22 October enterprise bargaining will commence.

Survey of members

Matthew and Leanne are in the process of developing a log of claims. However, we need to hear from members on what should be included in the new 2021 EA.

Please peruse the current Enterprise Agreement HERE. We encourage you to write back to us with any specific changes you want us to take forward in the forthcoming bargaining sessions.

These negotiations are ultimately about your employment conditions and your rights at work, so this is a good time to get active.

If you are interested in participating with CPSU NSW industrial representatives on the enterprise bargaining process, and contributing to and negotiating for a new Ausgrid EA – then your union encourages you to do so.

Please get in touch with us on the details below.
