CPA commits to union consultation on Accommodation and Respite review

Member Update-Cerebral Palsy Alliance – Nov 2019 (PDF version)

The CPSU NSW met with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) on 15 November to discuss the organisation’s review of its Accommodation and Respite services following concerns raised by staff.

CPA sought to assure us that while operational changes are anticipated in 2020, full consultation will occur with staff and the CPSU NSW ahead of any restructuring. At this stage CPA are undertaking a review only and no changes will be implemented prior to the conclusion of the employment guarantee in March 2020.

In the meantime, CPA has agreed to meet each month with the CPSU NSW to ensure that the appropriate consultative arrangements are in place.
