As members are aware the PILLAR ADMINISTRATION ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2016 is up for re-negation with Mercer this year.

Negotiations for the new agreement will be facilitated by the Fair Work Commission utilising the Interest Based Bargaining approach.  One of the aims of interest based bargaining is to expedite the negotiations.

Your CPSU NSW Delegates, Industrial Staff and Mercer staff will be undertaking the training at the Fair Work Commission on the following dates:

Thursday June 20 2019 – 11.00am to 5.00pm

Friday June 21 2019 – 9.00am to 3.00pm

The training will outline the frameworks and parameters in which the bargaining will be conducted.

Commencement of Bargaining

The dates have not been confirmed for the commencement of bargaining however bargaining is likely to commence in the second half of July.

Do you want to join the CPSU NSW bargaining team?

The CPSU NSW Bargaining Team will be made of your current CPSU NSW delegates and Industrial staff. Your Union is also seeking another CPSU NSW member to be part of the Bargaining Team. We are asking interested members to email their expression of interest in being on the CPSU NSW Bargaining Team to with the subject heading CPSU NSW Bargaining Team at Mercer.

Please email your EOI by Monday 17 June 2019 by 12.00pm

As part of the CPSU NSW Bargaining Team you will be required to attend the training with the Fair Work Commission in Sydney on the above dates.

Member Input

We anticipate that dates for bargaining will be set shortly. Your Union will advise members of the dates of the meetings. Your union will also set up meetings at the workplace to report back on the Fair Work training and get your input to inform the negotiations with Mercer.  We will set up those meetings shortly.
