Northcott members’ meeting at Parramatta – April 2019 (PDF version)
Members at Northcott attended the meeting at Parramatta on 26 March 2019. It was encouraging to see so many members attend while they were off duty. Plans are underway to have Northcott members’ meetings in central locations at Campbelltown/Liverpool and Blacktown/Rooty Hill. Details will be sent soon.
In light of Northcott making access to group home team meetings harder to access, these types of general meetings could be of additional value. Historically, the Illawarra and Hunter regions have been strongly unionised work places because they both enjoyed well supported regular Work Place Groups. You, as members, can decide how formal these meetings are with the assistance of the CPSU NSW Industrial staff.
The CPSU NSW is establishing a Northcott Delegates Council and nomination for Delegates is coming out shortly. For those wanting a more active role in the union, please consider nominating for one of the Delegate roles in the Council.
