The CPSU NSW and PSA has been invited to an important forum on the future of TAFE.
The forum will be held on:
Speakers have been invited from the CPSU NSW, Business Chamber, Australian Education Union and the South Coast Labor Council.
TAFE NSW is under serious attack and, as a result, so too is the future viability of industry and employment within the area.
Whilst the union will be represented, it is important that you, your family and friends attend as members of the community to show your support for TAFE.
Students are expected to travel to colleges over an hour away in some cases as courses are cut from campuses, other campuses are being sold off leaving entire regions without a TAFE college, whilst tens of thousands of students are leaving TAFE due to increased fees and lack of support.
Members are urged to stand up for further education and attend this forum.
