ONRSR member meeting

ONRSR member meeting – May 2018 (PDF version)

Currently in Australia, we are seeing a dramatic shift in our employment practices – more insecure jobs,

  • record low wage growth
  • cut backs on middle income jobs
  • globalisation
  • a significant rise in the cost of basic living expenses and
  • the dominant ideology of trickledown economics.

At our recent Union Meeting in Sydney, there were many questions regarding the Australian Industrial Relations System and the level of Union activity within ONRSR. It was suggested, ONRSR CPSU NSW Members, consider electing a Union Delegate. Union Delegates are pivotal to good workplace relations. The CPSU NSW provides support and training for all our Delegates.

Therefore, we invite you to a lunchtime meeting to discuss these issues in an informal environment.

  • Location: PSA House, 160 Clarence Street, SYDNEY
  • Date: Thursday 10 May
  • Time: 12noon – 1pm

The Agenda will be:

  • Debrief on the recent Enterprise Agreement and
  • Election of a Union Delegate.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to your Union Organiser, Maryanne Stuart: .

Please advise if you have any dietary requirements.

This will be the beginning of an open conversation. Your involvement in helping to set the CPSU NSW’s agenda to campaign on what is IMPORTANT to you, your workplace and your family is essential.

Feel free to bring along a NEW Union Member!
