State-wide members’ meeting – April 2018 (PDF version)

On 28 March 2018, CPSU NSW members from various locations across the state met to celebrate the coverage win and discuss workplace issues and changes. Following the decision in the Fair Work Commission affirming the CPSU NSW right to support transferred members, meetings in the workplace such as this one can now be scheduled regularly.

Upcoming Consultation with Management – 10 April

A number of workplace issues were raised at the meeting including:

  • changes to flex time arrangement
  • a feeling of isolation and disconnect between teams
  • inconsistent application of leave processes
  • double and triple handling of hours tracking
  • increased administrative tasks diverting from core role and responsibilities.

The first CPSU NSW and Management Joint Consultative Committee is scheduled on 10 April 2018. The issues above and those provided by your delegates will form the agenda items provided to management for consultation.
