Southern Cross University – Enterprise Agreement negotiations begin

Southern Cross University – Enterprise Agreement negotiations begin – February 2018 (PDF version)

Yesterday your CPSU bargaining team held its first meeting with management and the other bargaining representatives.

We presented the log of claims that you endorsed; see the final version HERE.

Management also presented its log of claims and we discussed bargaining protocols and time frames.

Overall it was the hope of all parties that negotiations would not drag on as they did last time and we could provided certainty for the university and for members who have overwhelmingly stated job security is their primary concern.

Your union also requested an update on the university’s financial situation, particularly given the Federal Government’s latest cuts announced last year.

Our next meeting with management is on 26 February and we will keep you updated throughout.

For any further information or feedback, please contact one of your CPSU NSW Bargaining Representatives:
