TAFE NSW member update

TAFE NSW member update – June 2017 (PDF version)

On 15 June, your union met with representatives from the NSW Teachers Federation and TAFE NSW in the first proper bargaining meeting for the TAFE Managers’ Enterprise Agreement. The CPSU tabled, and talked to your claims as provided to you in our bulletin of 14 June 2017.

The Teachers’ Federation will provide their claims in due course.

TAFE NSW will respond to your claims at the next bargaining meeting on 21 June. They are interested in ‘modernising’ the agreement and have provided bargaining representatives with a proposed draft agreement which we will work through and respond to at the next meeting. TAFE NSW also tabled a pay offer of 2.5 per cent a year for two years.

Agenda items for the next meeting will include access to fleet cars, issues with the Special Fitness and Hard to Fill clause, and whether or not Performance Management belongs in an agreement or a policy.
