Nominations are now open for the following positions to represent members at University of Newcastle:

• Ourimbah delegate;
• Callaghan delegates x4;
• President;
• Vice President;
• Secretary;
• Assistant Secretary;
• Women’s Officer.

As a delegate or other representative, you’ll be involved in:

• setting the collective targets and objectives of the Branch Committee;
• promoting the values and advantages of union membership in your workplace;
• maintaining regular contact with members;
• recruiting new members with the aim of obtaining 100% union membership;
• participating in negotiations with University of Newcastle management to advocate on behalf of UoN members; and
• assisting members with grievances and other issues which members wish to take up with management.

All delegates to the Branch Committee will be given free training by the PSA/CPSU in your role, as well as ongoing support from your union.

All financial members of the PSA/CPSU are welcome to nominate
