Time to finalise our claims for a new AHPRA Agreement

Thank you to all the members who completed our log of claims survey or shared their views on the next Australian Health Practitioner Regulator Agency (AHPRA) Agreement in other ways. All of that feedback has now been considered, and we’ve developed a draft CPSU NSW Log of Claims for a new AHPRA Agreement.

Now that you can see the claims, we want to hear from you.

Is anything missing? Are there claims you’d like clarified or expanded?

Collating a joint union claim

Three unions – the CPSU, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation and Together Queensland – are involved in bargaining for the next Agreement.

We’ve agreed itis in members’ best interests to combine our individual claims into a single joint union log of claims, which we’ve committed to serving on AHPRA at the bargaining meeting on 5 February.

Union representatives will meet next week to collate our claims. Once finalised, we’ll circulate the joint union log of claims to members.

Employee Bargaining Reps

As well as the three unions participating in bargaining, around 15 Employee Bargaining Representatives have either self-nominated or been nominated by colleagues to be a part of bargaining.

We’ll be reaching out to them over the next week, to invite them to add their names to the joint union log of claims. These reps have also been asked to present any additional claims they have at the bargaining meeting scheduled for 19 February.
