Life Without Barriers (LWB) are planning to close two of their corporate entities, LWB Disability Services Central (LDSC) and LWB Disability Services South (LDSS). These entities were set up by LWB in 2018 up to employ staff from the former NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care when the NSW Government privatised disabilities services.
This means there will be changes to how members will be paid for a limited time, as set out during consultation with LWB. The relevant documents can be found HERE for the Fact Sheet, and HERE for the Consultation document
Importantly, it does not appear that pay runs will be missed or delayed due to the proposed changes. However, members are welcome to seek assistance from the union if there are any questions.
