Australian Catholic University: Industry and Innovation Office change plan

Australian Catholic University management notified the CPSU NSW on 31 March 2025 of a Draft Change Plan for the Industry and Innovation Office.

The plan introduces a specialised role for Industry-Sponsored Research, a support role for tenders and Consultancy and a role for Delegation of Commercialisation management.

The plan will also result in the disestablishment of an Administrative Officer role and an Academic Lead Research Translation and Impact, and Academic Enterprise Manager Role.

The Academic Enterprise Manager role is a vacant position but the Administrative Officer and Academic Lead, Research Translation and Impact roles will need to be managed through redeployment or redundancy.

The Consultation period for the Draft Change Plan runs from 31 March until 11 April. Whether your role is directly or indirectly affected by this change, we strongly encourage you to submit feedback to the following  ACU Staff and Stakeholder Feedback webpage link.

We are also visiting members at the North Sydney Campus to offer you the opportunity to talk with the CPSU NSW Organiser about our role in your workplace and what we can do to help you.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and we encourage you to talk to your colleagues and bring them along.
