CPSU NSW update: National Heavy Vehicle Regulator RMS Award salary Increase

RMS Award/Copied State Instrument Salary Increase

The CPSU NSW welcomes the news from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) regarding salary increases.

Effective 7 July 2023, the NHVR will pass on the salary increase of 5.75 per cent and 0.5 per cent superannuation contribution (raising to a superannuation total of 11 per cent) increase contained within the amendments to the Roads and Maritime Services Consolidated Salaried Award 2019.

The CPSU NSW has been corresponding with the NHVR regarding pay increases for 2023 ahead of Enterprise Agreement negotiations due to commence early 2024.

We believe this is a significant and well-deserved pay increase that will assist with the extraordinary cost of living crisis in NSW.
