PSA (CPSU) response to TAFE’s proposed changes to conditions

PSA (CPSU) response to TAFE’s proposed changes to conditions July 2015 (PDF version)

The PSA (CPSU) has been asked to respond in writing to the proposals by TAFE regarding the changes to your conditions of employment under a new classification system, and how staff would transition from the current classifications to the new system.

After careful analysis of TAFE’s proposals we have rejected all of their claims.

You can find a copy of our letter to TAFE here which we ask members to please read, download and print off to make sure you and your colleagues understand the situation.

Shortly, the PSA (CPSU) will ask members to endorse the Log of Claims for your bargaining team to table with TAFE. The Log of Claims is based on feedback and input from PSA (CPSU) members.

Your Bargaining Team will meet TAFE representatives today and tomorrow (29-30 July) and we are hopeful that TAFE will address the concerns we have raised and withdraw their claims which would lead to a fundamental reduction in pay and conditions.

Please keep an eye out for an update after this week’s meeting.
