PSA/CPSU NSW members are invited to the launch of the South Coast Labour Council (SCLC) report into the importance of the public sector to our region.
Providing the Economic Foundations for Our Regions: The Impact of Public Sector Employment on Regional Labour Markets and Economies is a report commissioned for the SCLC to highlight the stabilising role a vibrant public sector plays in an economy increasingly dominated by the fluctuating tourism and agricultural sectors.
The report has also found that as the South Coast emerges from the twin hit of COVID-19 and the bushfires, it is a strong public sector that will boost regional activity and restore our economy.
Come along and meet with PSA/CPSU NSW members and those from other public sector unions as the SCLC launches the report to the public.
