The BGM is an important meeting where:
the current Chair provides an annual summary and list of your delegates’ achievements
key positions within the Delegates Council are elected, where members like you volunteer to support fellow union members and colleagues
information is shared across Northcott CPSU NSW members
CPSU NSW members who form the Northcott Delegates Council get the opportunity to meet, network and make friends with other union members.

We ask that you consider nominating to become a CPSU NSW delegate to the Northcott Delegates Council. By volunteering a small bit of your time, you can learn more about what your rights at work consist of, how your rights are created and protected. You will also meet new colleagues, make new friends and help make improvements to the working lives of disability workers employed by Northcott.
One delegate for every 40 financial members or part thereof
Chair, who will, inter alia, preside at meetings of the Delegates Council
Vice‐Chair, who will, inter alia, deputise for the Chair
Secretary, who will, inter alia, keep the minutes of all meetings of the Delegates Council and of the Committee
Assistant Secretary, who will, inter alia, assist and deputise for the Secretary
Women’s Officer, who will, inter alia, promote the interests of women members of the Delegates Council
Delegates to Disability Sector Delegates Council
Such other Committee members as may be determined by the Branch from time to time.
If you would like to nominate for a position in advance you may do so by emailing , stating in the subject line Northcott Delegates Council BGM. In the body of the email put which position you are nominating for, and the names of your nominator and seconder.
