University of New England Enterprise Bargaining feedback

University of New England Enterprise Bargaining feedback – July 2017 (PDF version)

We hope you enjoy your three per cent pay rise this week, won for you by the CPSU NSW in the last round of Enterprise Bargaining. That’s the last one defined in the current Collective Agreement, so it’s time to start bargaining to develop the next version.

Your input is important to us for the Log of Claims for this round of enterprise bargaining. Please take a few minutes to let us know your thoughts on the following:

  1. What are the three conditions of employments you value most working at UNE? Which conditions would you be willing to take action over to protect?
  2. What don’t you like about your conditions of employment or you think could be improved?
  3. What do you think should be put into our new agreement that is not currently there?

You can email your responses to Jen Mitchell, your CPSU NSW Industrial Officer at:

Your CPSU NSW bargaining team will be meeting with UNE Management to begin bargaining for your new Agreement on 1 August.

To ensure that we can maintain and improve existing conditions for Professional Staff, we’ll need all hands on deck during the bargaining period.

  • Encourage your fellow members to attend the listening sessions
  • Share this information with a colleague and encourage them to join the CPSU
  • Volunteer to be part of our Campaign Team

We are stronger together. CPSU NSW is the only union on campus solely dedicated to protecting the rights and conditions of Professional Staff.
