Members decline Coal Services proposal

Members decline Coal Services Proposal (PDF version)

As you are aware, the CPSU NSW held a vote regarding the proposal put forward by CSPL. The vote was declined by members. We advised CSPL of the outcome of the vote and that we were still in dispute.

CSPL then made a decision to directly appoint Case Manager and Account Managers and to take the Voluntary Redundancy off the table from Friday 17 August. This was CSPL decision and done without our knowledge.

The affect this has is that now many of you have your jobs and entitlements secured and will not have to go through the Forsythe process. It does however leave some out in the cold.

We will be discussing the matter further with you and your Delegates to establish a way forward.

If you have any comments or questions, please contact your Delegates so we can support you as best as we can.

Please forward this to your colleagues so that they know their rights and encourage them to JOIN the CPSU NSW.

If you are not yet a member, you can support the work of the union and your local delegates by joining the CPSU NSW.

Please note: CPSU NSW members are also members of the Public Service Association of NSW. The PSA is the Associated Body for, and resources and manages, the CPSU NSW.
