CPSU NSW update: TAFE NSW Administrative Enterprise Agreement – FLEX MD STATEMENT

Flex and the Proposed New Administrative Enterprise Agreement

The CPSU NSW is highly concerned by a statement released by the Managing Director of TAFE NSW on the benefits of the proposed TAFE Commission of NSW Administrative Support and Related Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023 (EA), specifically regarding the note on changes to flex accrual.

The CPSU NSW has contacted TAFE NSW with the concern that the Managing Director’s statement released by email on the benefits is misleading.

To be clear, there is no maximum accrual on flex time. What TAFE NSW failed to note, much to the alarm of readers, is that you can accrue up to 15mins of flex per day without prior approval from a manager. The text of the EA reflects this.

The voting period opens on 12 December 2023.
