The CPSU NSW and Delegates Council (DC) met on 17 and 20 November to review and endorse the proposed TAFE Commission of NSW Administrative, Support and Related Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023 (EA).
We are delighted to confirm that the CPSU NSW as bargaining representatives for administrative staff have reached in-principle agreement with TAFE NSW on the EA.
The proposed agreement will now be put to TAFE NSW administrative staff for consideration and an official vote. Should the vote be in favour of the EA, TAFE NSW will submit the proposed EA to the Fair Work Commission for assessment and approval.
We expect TAFE NSW to open up the 7-day Access Period for the new EA shortly. The Access Period will be your opportunity to review the proposed EA and ask the CPSU NSW questions about anything in the new document.
TAFE NSW has provided clarification to the CPSU NSW and the Fair Work Commission on the offer of pay.
TAFE NSW is planning to pay each staff member covered by the EA:
*calculated to the first pay days from these dates
The CSPU NSW will be hosting members meetings to explain the terms and conditions and implementation of the new EA in the coming weeks and in early 2024.
We thank the CPSU NSW TAFE bargaining team for their tireless efforts on this EA and extend our gratitude to TAFE NSW and Commissioner Matheson and her team for their assistance.
