The bargaining team remained hopeful that the University would react to the rejection of the current salary offer by both unions, however at yesterday’s bargaining meeting, while several professional staff issues were discussed, there was no response to salary.
By the end of this week, we are expecting to circulate a detailed account of where negotiations over professional staff working conditions currently stands.
At next Wednesday’s zoom meeting the discussion will be around salary and the options that are available.
