Forestry Corporation NSW commits to three per cent administrative pay rise from 1 July

The Forestry Corporation of NSW (FCNSW) has agreed to pass on a three per cent administrative pay rise while continuing to bargain with staff and unions for a new Enterprise Agreement.

The pay rise deal was reached on Friday, 1 July with FCNSW confirming that:

  1. Effective the first full pay period after 1 July 2022, pass on a three per cent increase to total remuneration in accordance with Wages Policy (inclusive of statutory superannuation) to all enterprise agreement covered employees.
  2. Effectively “rollover” the current enterprise agreement for a period of up to 12 months, albeit noting that at all times FNCSW will comply with the National Employment Standards to the extent it confers a more beneficial entitlement.
  3. Continue bargaining for a new replacement agreement reflecting the current efforts being undertaken by all bargaining representatives.

The pay deal provides financial certainty for FCNSW staff, while allowing the parties to continue bargaining.

The CPSU NSW would like to acknowledge the excellent work of the union bargaining teams involved in negotiations with management.
