On 7 December the Fair Work Commission approved the WaterNSW Enterprise Agreement 2021. The new Agreement will operate from 14 December 2021. As previously advised, it provides for a range of significant improvements to the current Agreement, including:
As per the NSW Public Sector Wages Policy 2021 the Agreement will be for one year only, expiring on 30 June 2022.
In recognition of the essential work CPSU NSW members perform at WaterNSW, particularly during the recent rain events, the union has decided to run a photo competition.
The competition will be limited to photos taken from 1 November 2021 until 31 January 2022 of weirs, dams and waterways.
To be eligible to enter the person needs to be a fully paid up member at the time of submitting their photo.
The winning photo will be judged on its composition, as well as how it captures the aspects of the recent and current flood events while representing the essential work of WaterNSW employees.
The winner, who will be announced in the second week of February, will receive a prize of $500 towards the cost of a camera. This will be done by way of a gift voucher for JB HiFi bought through Union Shopper.
The winning photo will be published in Red Tape, and other CPSU NSW publications with the photographer clearly credited.
Photos are to be sent to , with WATERNSW photo competition in the subject line.
