New year? Time to join your union!

Join – Jan 2021 (PDF version)

The CPSU NSW is the union for Professional Staff. It represents thousands of non-teaching staff across NSW universities just like you.

As you may be aware 2021 is going to be a very busy year. This year, your university will be renegotiating your Enterprise Agreement, where we negotiate your rights and conditions. It’s because of the strengths and knowledge of the CPSU NSW that you have such good conditions, such as your leave and 17 per cent super, and it’s important that we hold on to these hard-fought rights.

This will be an especially hard round of bargaining, considering the crisis the higher education sector is in. Without Government support it is likely management will be looking at cutting your rights and conditions to save money, along with all the changes they are currently making.

The only way to protect yourself is by joining the Professional Staff union – the CPSU NSW. We have a fantastic team with years of experience, However, there is power in numbers, and you can be a part of it.

If you are interested in joining, please sign up HERE. Not only will you be fighting for your rights at work, but you will also be supporting your other colleagues, and have access to thousands of dollars’ savings a year. On top of that, your union fees are completely tax deductible.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of your Delegates or Organiser.

The CPSU NSW is your voice in the workplace, so make sure it’s heard – join up and get active.
