As you know Thursday 13 August was National TAFE Day. Your union, the CPSU NSW was out in force promoting the importance of TAFE and the work that all staff do.

Hear from CPSU NSW Secretary Stewart Little wishing everyone a happy National TAFE Day, as well as launching the Australia Needs TAFE. Keep It Public campaign HERE

Listen to a panel chaired by Unions NSW Assistant Secretary, Vanessa Seagrove that discusses the pivotal role TAFE must play in reconstructing a post-Covid economy and sustainable green jobs.

Also NSW Politicians from the Labor Party, Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party and the Greens showed their support of TAFE

Federal Oppositions Minister Tanya Plibersek too, spoke out on the importance of TAFE

Finally, members maybe interested to read the report An Investment in Productivity and Inclusion: The Economic and Social Benefits of the TAFE System released by the Australia Institute and the Centre for Future Work that makes a clear case as to the economic and social importance of TAFE in a Covid and post-Covid world
