With voting commencing on Wednesday 2 November, the CPSU NSW invites ALL staff to meet with our bargaining team to gain insight into the process as we see it.
This is your opportunity to ask questions, seek clarity and develop an understanding of our position on the proposed agreement.
We believe that, in order to make an informed decision, you need to hear from all parties.
We are disappointed to learn another union has made disparaging comments about the CPSU NSW’s stance on bargaining and about the union itself and, by extension, the members who make up the union. These members are your colleagues and deserve better respect.
Despite the other union’s statements, there have been improvements in accessing benefits such as flextime and disconnection right.
Importantly, the CPSU NSW has made real progress about getting members off fixed-term contracts and into permanent positions.
As your university’s Professional Staff Union, the CPSU NSW is working for the best possible outcome in the current climate for our members.
The CPSU NSW represents Professional Staff in all NSW public universities. While Southern Cross University is a registered NSW university that does not preclude our Gold Coast campus being supported by the CPSU. Regardless of where the campus is located, the CPSU NSW works only on behalf of Professional Staff and puts their interests first.
