PSA/CPSU NSW members have done it again.
This issue of Red Tape is dedicated to the union members who kept NSW moving when much of the state went into a lockdown.
Whether working at home without their usual workplace structures or braving a pandemic and heading into workplaces, our members had the state’s back, doing their utmost for a better NSW in an extraordinarily difficult time.
Read our feature on just some of the PSA/CPSU NSW members overcoming huge obstacles to do what they do best: keeping the state running. All with the support of a union that had their backs all the way.
This issue also gives us a chance to meet the “Unofficial Mayor of Wee Waa”, who went above and beyond to get his community vaccinated, as well as a State Library team keeping a culture alive.
We also look back at a Schools Recognition Week with a difference and a report into workplace sexual harassment the Morrison Government has largely ignored.
On a lighter note, meet the three PSA/CPSU NSW members who brightened up lockdown evenings nationwide on reality TV shows Survivor and The Voice.
With the regular line-up of news, opinion and reviews, we are sure you will enjoy our latest issue.
