Foundation House is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in Sydney’s Inner West. It was established for union members in the construction industry, but over time over unions, including the PSA CPSU NSW, have come on board as supporters, and in doing so gaining expedited access for our members often at the time of their greatest need.
Foundation House receive its funding through three streams: union partners such as the PSA CPSU NSW, mandated employer contributions in Enterprise Agreements in the construction industry and two major events.
One of these events is a Golf Day in which the PSA CPSU NSW has entered three teams. We are looking for members to join us who can take a day off work to contribute to a great cause and hopefully bring back a trophy for our Union.
The format for the day is four-ball ambrose, and you will be placed in a team of PSA CPSU NSW members, staff and officials at the beautiful yet hazardous Kooindah Waters Golf Club. Bring your clubs, a collared shirt and a willingness to spend half your day helping the Assistant General Secretary find his ball in the rough.
