Bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement (EA) at the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) has begun.
On 9 December 2025, unions and management met for an introductory meeting before AHPRA issues the Notice of Employee Representational Rights (NERR). You’ll receive the NERR in the coming days, and the bargaining process will formally begin.
As a CPSU NSW member, you don’t need to take any action. We represent you automatically in bargaining.
Four unions are involved in bargaining: the CPSU, the ANMF, the AMA, and Together (ASU Qld). We’re already coordinating to ensure we can pursue a strong outcome for all union members.
Each union is currently gathering feedback from members about what needs to be improved in the next EA. Before the first substantive bargaining meeting on 19 January 2026, we’ll consolidate that feedback into a single unified log of claims.
Have your say – what do you want in the next EA?
We’ve developed a survey to help us understand the priorities of CPSU members across the country.
It covers key areas we expect to negotiate – pay, workload, flexible work, leave, safety and anything else members tell us is important. There’s space for detailed comments as well as quick tick-box responses.
Your input will directly inform the claims that we take to the table.
Complete the survey HERE or by clicking the QR code at the bottom of this bulletin.
If you have questions or want to discuss anything further, contact the CPSU NSW bargaining team.
