The PSA CPSU NSW has held 2 meetings with members on 6 Wednesday August 2025 to discuss the call for expression of interest for Voluntary Redundancies of some 300 roles.

Union consultation is ongoing, where a further PCG meeting is proposed on Monday to finalise the consultation plan. The PSA CPSU says the current timeframe for consultation until 22 August will need to be extended as this is clearly inadequate and we must be consulted on the proposed future operating model and before any position is proposed to be declared excess, in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement.

The PSA CPSU says members currently do not have enough information about the new structure in consideration of an offer of VR and your union has requested the criteria for the offers of VR’s.
