Clarence Correctional Centre: Bargaining update and meeting notice

Correctional Case Officers have overwhelmingly voted to reject a pay offer from Serco Australia, with 98 percent of union respondents opposing the company’s proposal.

Serco Australia had offered Correctional Case Officers a 9.5 percent pay rise over 3 years, however the CPSU NSW bargaining team strongly recommended members vote against the proposal, noting the offer would do little to bridge the gap between public and private sector pay rates in NSW.

Notwithstanding the ballot result, the CPSU NSW bargaining team has told company representatives we remain committed to good faith negotiations and have called on Serco to Australia to improve their position on CCO pay.

CPSU NSW representatives will be onsite on Thursday, 10 April from 10:00am-12:00pm

We will be located in the Boardroom (BDG 14 Boardroom) and available to answer any questions you may have on the progress of our negotiations with the company.
