On 2 April 2025, Management provided the CPSU NSW with a Draft Change Plan for the Professional Services Hub (PSH) Corporate Services area.
The proposal is to discontinue the current PSH structure and change the reporting lines of the Executive Officers and Service Improvement Business Partner. The proposal will also include moving the Service Central Team ‘as is’ to the IT Directorate and changing the reporting line of the National Manager, Service Central.
The union was advised the university will hold consultation sessions to allow directly affected staff in the PSH to discuss the proposed changes and its impacts on their work. These are to be held by 9 April 2025.
Staff can also provide feedback through the ACU Change Proposal Feedback Link before 16 April 2025. We strongly encourage members to engage in the consultation process, even if your role will not be directly or indirectly affected.
Management has advised there will be no disestablished roles or redundancies. It has also stated the proposal will not change the workloads of affected staff. However, the change will affect the way the PSH team will do its work.
